SSL for Vanity Domains is now available for all our customers! You may have heard recently that a secure web is here to stay, and that more sites will get a “Not Secure” warning. The good news is that you can now use your own domain with https for your Pardot landing pages and forms. Not sure where to start?
Requesting an SSL certificate for your vanity domain is easy to set up in your Admin console:
- Go to the Administration > Domain Management page
- In the Tracker Domains table, click on the Actions gear icon for your selected vanity domain
- Click the Enable SSL action
You can perform this action for any of your custom vanity domains with a validation status of Validated. Your site will get a certificate from Let’s Encrypt, a trusted certificate authority. It will be ready within 10 to 15 minutes. This is confirmed when your SSL Status changes from Processing to Enabled. At this point, you should be able to access your marketing content on your vanity domain over HTTPS. For FAQs on adding SSL to your landing pages, see this article.
